Wollaton Hall, Nottingham
Wollaton Hall from the steps at the rear of the building.
The light difference between the base of the steps under the trees and the hall itself is significant; here a 0.9 ND graduated filter has been used -- that's three full stops -- to bring these two parts of the scene within touching distance of each other.
That has allowed both elements to render in the same shot, and only a minor curve adjustment in post-processing has been needed to tease out some shadow detail in the bush at bottom right.
