BFFs on Borrowed Time

We had the BFF over this afternoon. The girls are trying to spend as much time together as possible until D day, this coming Saturday. I love having them together, they always have so much going on. Today it was organising Woofie's disco birthday sleepover, which will have to be early due to the BFF's family being enroute that day. (Woofie is a dog, a soft toy, but he spends as much time here as the BFF does.)

We had lunch with the BFF's family today. I gave them a present that I'd put together since we've known they were moving back to the States. I have had a book of photos that I've taken over time of things our families have done together. It is a lovely journey to look through, well I think so anyway. We've had a copy made for us as well.

We have opted to go away next weekend as it isn't going to be the easiest to get the Eldest or I through, so having something truly different and fun is best for everyone's mental health.

We've still got this week, and dammit, I'm going to try and make the most of it, but I'm sure that we'll all be setting each other off through it, as well as sharing the laughs that this family has brought into my life since 2007, we're not going to break that habit yet.
