Shower on the Way

Just managed a short coastal walk today between heavy showers, the sun was beautiful, sparkling on the sea, before it disappeared behind a big grey bank of cloud and I had to leg it back to the car before the down pour!
I booked a little trip to France today to visit Doriane, who stayed on the farm and helped with numerous tasks, for about a year. It will be wonderful to spend some time with her at her home place in the Pyrenees. So I fly to Gerona on Tuesday for a week, very excited, if not a little apprehensive leaving the girls holding the fort, this is the first time I've been away on my own in twenty years, can't believe I'm saying that!
