Robert, The Postman

We had a presentation in the Anchorage,Scourie this evening for Robert who retired . We will all miss him very much as he not only delivered our mail but delivered our paper, medicine and when we couldn't get out for the snow he brought supplies. He always had a smile and a joke when he came. We wish him all the best.

Drama with the lambing today as we had to deliver a lamb which was stuck. It was coming head first and we could not find it legs, then we discovered that it's mouth was deformed and it was dead so we had to get it out and it was a great effort pulling and pulling but eventually it came. All this happen half an hour before we were going out to Robert's presentation. The gimmer is fine as she was standing up when we got home.
