The Early Bird

First blip of the day. I was up very early wakened by the sun streaming in the bedroom window. Looked out and spotted this heron on the shore at the bottom of the garden. So quickly dressed and headed quietly down to see the heron. Got fairly close and fired off a shot. As usual it spread its wings and flew off. I did get a couple of inflight shots but I liked the way the light caught the heron wading in the shallow water. LARGE might be worth a look.

I thought I would wait and see if I blipped anything unusual on our wanderings down the Rest to Dumbarton. Met a fellow blipper at the Sons' game. He had his camera in with him but mine was safely tucked away in the car. Hope he got good shots of the celebrations as we won 2-1. better game than last week with my favourite wee player back in the gameafter an injury.

Got some scenic blips but the heron is the one I liked best. However no chance of uploading till now as we had a power cut which was very strange as the weather conditions seemed very settled.
