A Day for Firsts

This afternoon, I went to Cheeky Sew and Sews in Todmorden, where I currently have an exhibition of my paintings. I was meeting friends there - they are new friends, but feel like old friends. It is a sewing cafe and many people did something for the first time today. My friend's daughter learnt to crochet and other friends made little felt flowers. But this lady, called Liz, surpassed us all and made a dress! It is the first thing she has ever made. As for me, this is my first blip!
