York Minster

As seen from the huge observation wheel in York.

It has been a lovely day considering it was absolutely lashing it down with rain on the drive down from Durham. However, once we got here it brightened up and got out really nice. We had a very pleasant wander around York and down by the River Ouse taking in the sights as well as having a ride on the observation wheel. After a quick turnaround back at the hotel we headed back out to have dinner at The Ivy Brasserie We had a delicious meal and the decor was beautiful. All in all a very nice day indeed :-)
