Herr Amsel In The Tree

Last weekend I watched a pair of blackbirds building their nest on my balcony.
They gave up the building during the week; I wonder why.
I hope they found a better place to live at and raise their children.

This one visiting the tree today might have been one of the two.
I like how his beak matches the new leaves in the sunlight.
