Crazy April Weather in Dorset!!

Mrs P, Oliver and I went for a cycle ride this morning. It was bright and sunny, but a bit chilly. Within an hour or so of getting home it went dark, started to rain hard and then this happened.

Pea sized hail with thunder and lightening.

This lasted about 2 minutes and in that time it settled on the ground, caused our garden to be covered in debris from the thatched roof due to the pounding it received and the lane that runs along side the house to turn into a 2 inch deep stream. I poked my camera out of the window and blipped this scene -which looks more like a snow storm!
