Last Day
The inside joke here is that I'm pointing at K.Dogg's pretty dramatic facial burn line. I suppose the joke is really on me, as my face has turned a deeper shade of maroon after yesterday's unexpected hammering of rays. We slid around Le Tour until they wouldn't let us go up no more, and then went about preparing an epically sized dinner to feed a team of ravenous skiers. We found a bottle of Campari from some old guests and I managed to convince everyone to indulge in my Swedish grandpa's favourite drink; Manhatten, by mixing it with a healthy measure of whiskey. Unfortunately it was only really Robbie and I that took a liking [?] to this potent liquid but it sure did make our favourite game of In The Bowl* extensively hilarious.
*Rules of In The Bowl : Everyone playing writes 5 random [funny or topical] words on bit of paper, scrunches up + places in The Bowl. Split into two teams [girls V boys is always more entertaining]. Each team takes it in turns to get through as many words in 30 seconds, each time changing team member to attempt to illustrate to their team what word they are trying to portray. There are 3 rounds in total; 1st- nominated person is allowed to describe the word to their team- not mentioning, of course, the actual word. Round one is played until all the words have been guessed, points tallied up and all the words on paper return to the bowl. 2nd- nominated person has to sum up selected paper in just one word. 3rd- nominated person mimes the word, absolutely no talking allowed.
I wonder if those rules make the game in any way enthralling sounding, but please trust me- it's so fun + so simple! I hope to play it with you some day.
