Hoping for a colorful sunset, I walked to the Duncan Airport, which is on top of a hill. The airport is located in the Butler gravel pit, which is slowly encroaching on the airport runway. I stood near the runway and close to the edge looking into the pit when I made this photograph.

No colorful sunset this evening. On the horizon was only a faint streak of red.
