Not long now

Just a quick shot today of a type of daisy ( I think) that I had for my birthday. I worked this afternoon and spent a lot of the morning doing preparations so I didn't have much time.

The title relates to our remaining hamster, Sid. (Doris died last Saturday.) Sid appears to be getting very frail, either through old-age, or possibly a disease. We thought Doris died from old-age but Sid appears to have very similar symptoms so they may both have had the same thing. Sid has been so strong though. He spent all morning walking around his cage and eating. He only slept after I put him down on his bed. He seems a fighter to the last. I hope he is not suffering but it is so difficult to know with hamsters. I don't want to lose him but I know it is not fair to keep him alive if he has no quality of life or is in pain.
