Rhubarb

Spent an enjoyable afternoon down on the allotment. Did a considerable amount of weeding and digging. Too damp to mow the grass, so that job will have to be done another day. Sowed some beetroot and rearranged the protection around the spinach to keep the rabbits away from it. It was lovely and warm in the sun, but the clouds gathered and a heavy shower of rain put paid to any more work, so I retired to my shed to shelter and enjoy a lovely pot of Earl Grey tea from my flask. Luckily the weather improved before I set off home on my bike.
