A view from Aros

Aros is the name of a reception centre as one approaches Portree from the south. Aros comes from the Gaelic meaning Home. Here we look abliquely North easterly across the cemetry past a new house that should have stunning views towards the entrance to Loch Portree. Beyond is the Isle of Raasay with some mainland hills showing.
The sun is bright but it has been threateninmg rain on and off this afternoon. In point of fact we only had a few spits and spots later on.
