Reflections

Today has been a very wet day in Manchester & I got caught right in it & soaked to the skin!

I don't mind getting wet by rain really, there something quite enjoyable & liberating about it.

I like the way everyone rushes about to escape the downfall & the mix of colored umbrellas & reflections on the wet pavement whilst I just stroll going about my business as if the sun is beating down.

I didn't have a coloured umbrella, just an insufficient hood.

I just about managed to capture this well protected person in the wet, mirrored pavement before they hurried out of my viewfinder.

It hasn't stopped raining since dawn break, I wonder if, metaphorically, any sun will shine today.
