Respite

We had a brief respite from the rain today so we had an enjoyable walk through the St Ives estate.

I took my hat with me but didn't need it and of course noticed it was missing on the homeward stretch.

I went home for my bath and then to do my shopping calling back at St Ives on the way home. Worried I would have to walk some way I had my wellies with me as the recent rain has made the ground muddy again.

Driving through to the main car park I spotted blue up the path through the woods.

I quickly walked back and this is what I found. A kindly soul had placed it on top of the witch carving I had photographed earlier. It made me smile and was perfect for today's blip.

(There is a little sun shining on this but it is raining again now!)
