Blue Heron

Marie and I went down to the wetlands again tonight,a bit later as I finished work late. The sun was going down and the colours were briliant, but we were losing light fast Marie was looking at and photgraphing Swans and Geese and I spyed a pair of Blue Herons. Watching them and what they were doing was amazing. This one is one of 2 photos I had trouble deciding on, I watched this one steering at the water and then before you could blink its head was in the water and a small fish was in its beak it was so good to watch nature so close up. other photos
