Refraction and illumination

A grey day with much rain, and a sense of general weariness suitable for a Thursday evening left me with no practicable option other than to seek an interesting indoor blip for today. A bit of creative mucking about with things I found in the kitchen produced this image, via an interesting technique which I plan to come back to for further investigation..
