Travelling around the town early in the morning can add minutes to any journey as horses very much have priority in the town. The horses are exercised over the Gallops and they usually have livery in the trainer's colours. Sometimes as many as thirty horses can cross in front of traffic which doesn't help when you are hoping to catch a train on time. On misty mornings they can look almost eerie as you glimpse them in the distance. I love living here.
