Arcane Model

On the way into to work, inspired by Flying Saucer Attack on my headphones, I got to thinking about the post-britpop bands who cast a glance back across the Atlantic and started to produce some great lo-fi sounds. I'd say my favourite at the time were Urusei Yatsura a Glaswegian band with a hefty debt to the US underground scene, who were eventually eclipsed by their far superior peers The Delgados. Nobody mention Bis, ok?
