Cast Iron Gardening #9 : Fireplace

My late brother-in-law Lammert went through a rough period early last decade. After some time, he pieced back enough parts of his life to get back on his own feet again (... and left me with a joinery business, in the process making me a parttime joiner, but that is an altogether different story...)
In the garden of the house he rented we found this fireplace. A beautiful thing, but Lammert never cared much for old stuff. So I hauled it home, where it sits in the veggie patch as a little monument: Lammert Dekker 1961-2008.
