Black-Tailed Godwit....
Well, that's what I think it is, if anyone else has any ideas let me know, I think it is a female, quite large with a straight bill yellow with a black tip and dark legs, the under belly is unbarred and yellow as it is not the breading season.
With the amount of twitchers about all looking at her I would say they knew what it was too.
So quite a rare sighting for me as they are only found in coastal areas in a few parts of the country.
Another cracking day here in Devon, had a trip to Beer and Seaton, wanted to go fishing today but there were no boats out at all even though the sea was calm as calm could be.
