Along the Fairy House Trail

We visited a truly magical place this afternoon -- The Garden in the Woods, a giant garden were native wildflowers and plants grow and are cultivated. (I know that sounds like an oxymoron -- "to cultivate wildflowers" -- but that is what they do.)

The spring things were blooming, and the tree leaves were just beginning to come out of their buds. My daughter and I agreed that it will probably look like a completely different place in two or three months' time when the summer wildflowers are blooming. We can't wait to go back.
