Things you see that mean you're in France

1) Moustached beret topped men riding bikes in stripy shirts with a limp baguette stuck under one arm.

2) Peaceful tree lined squares and open spaces hidden away where you can go to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

3) Moustached beret topped men in stripy shirts playing boules in the squares mentioned in point 2.

As it happens, we found this one near the citadel on a hill overlooking Lyon, the thing i remember most is standing at one end and feeling like you were physically being drawn down to the water fountain.

Or maybe i was just a bit dehydrated. Anyway, i thought it was pretty.
