Heart's Tongue Fern
I love the way the fronds of the Heart's Tongue Fern (Phyllitis scolopendrium) unfurl at this time of year.
This plant was growing on a dry stone wall amongst primroses, wild violets and ivy.
Dry stone walls create wonderful habitats for both flora and fauna.
