Details

Today I accompanied 35 four-year-olds to Willowbank Wildlife Preserve. I shot over 100 pictures in the course of an hour & a half. You would think I'd post a blip that included at least one kid. But of all the finalists I was most intrigued with this one. The details are beautiful.

I am happy to report that I saw two kiwis in the Kiwi House and they were very active walking around, sipping water, & digging in the soil. A bit bigger than a regular hen, their gait was a silly looking waddle. Loved their plumage, too.

Now I'm exhausted, but on my way out to pick up kid#2 for his piano lesson. I still have to dream up dinner for tonight. Maybe Roast Chicken, hmmm...
