Optic Nerve

Dreary Daze

Showery on & off, cool and breezy - everything a young April day should be. The garden loved it so much that I could feel the envious aetheric groans and longing rattles of the drydocked plants inside the house. A good soaking later and their heads are dipping contentedly, nodding hydrated approval.

The lemon tree outside looked happy in the dismally lit rain too - the leaves sporting soothing domed droplets rather than aggravating scale insects.

I shall soon be doing much the same - getting drenched in the shower - in a goretex. Bargain Berghaus I must test, before lugging it up to the mountains.

And that ends tonight's report.
