Salsifying

Picked from the allotment tonight, alot of growing still to go for the rest of the row.

This is the first time I have tried growing salsify, will pick some more at weekend and cook them. Managed to get the greenhouse cleared of tomatoes so if weather bad at weekend it will be green tomato chutney making.
