The Tenacity of Limpets

I had an early wander on the beach and marvelled at the quantities of kelp brought ashore by yesterday's wild sea .How these little creatures manage to stay attached to the slippery surface of the rock while being bombarded by the extreme force of the sea is miraculous. It was an unexpectedly lovely day today and I spent most of it working in the garden.
Colm took his irish oral exam today. He says he flew through it. He has excellent irish because he went to an irish speaking primary school - the local Gaelscoil. I hope he'll find the written paper as easy in June.
