Abandoned on the Doorstep

Came home to find one of Charlie's girls had abandoned one of her offspring on the doorstep.
I would have fostered it and kept it warm in the airing cupboard but am about to go away and didn't think Mr Gx3 would be happy to do the necessary!

I gather Pheasants are not good mothers, and she picked the wrong doorstep!
