Progress of sorts!!!

So we are now in Day 3 of the building work at the house!

David has been staying over at night and tells me there is stoor* everywhere!

THIS shot was taken from the same spot as THIS!!! :-)) Note the tartan carpet is gone.....but fear not, it is rolled up in the loft just incase any of you lot change your minds and have a sudden desire to carpet one of your rooms in tartan! ;-))

We also have a full size snooker table in great nick if anyone's interested. Free to a good home / scout hall / club but need to collect :D

But back to the building work. In the before picture the door you can see on the right hand side leads into the hall but that part of the room is being extended and the window you are seeing on the right hand side in the after shot was in the hallway but will now form part of the extended bedroom. (sill following? lol)

Although the bedroom is being extended at that end, the whole room is being cut in half overall to form one half into a wet floor ensuite shower room for Alan and the other half into a smaller bedroom that at some point in the future will allow carers to stay over to look after Alan, meaning David and I might actually manage a weekend away together! Woo hoo! :-))

I apologise in advance for the fact a fair few of my blips over the coming weeks will be of the building work and the quality will be rubbish as they will all be taken with the iphone as I am not taking my beloved camera anywhere near that dust!!

P.S. Hahahahaha....just realised a year ago's blip was my most desperate one ever! I am impressed with the creative write up I gave it! LOL!!!
