life in the Village

this morning I cycled up to Dunscore to fetch a prescription for Eldest Son, who is languishing in bed with tonsillitis.

Thought I would take the opportunity to send a blip. Here is Dunscore Church and one of the three Fairtrade signs which were put up last year. I am very proud of these signs, as the battle to have them was fought long and hard. They were originally deemed illegal ( yes, really!) by transport secretaries at both Holyrood and Westminster. Exciting times..

The clock on the church is being repaired, so noone in the Village knows what time it is anymore.
