Day 8

Can you see the smile?

What a huge turnaround today.

The mask for bpap is off for 4 hour stretches during which time he was just on O2 through a nasal canula, and he wasn't overly bothered by it going back on. He stepped out of the room but is still so dependent on gear we couldn't get beyond the ICU. But maybe tomorrow.

Visits from Jenn, swim teacher Mikey, school friend Azzi and family and Skype with my sister.

Mikey decorated the room with balloons and stars, wonderful.

Have resorted to an iPad photo and upload, heaven forbid!
