Fish Pond

Early light on the pond, the huge goldfish (koi?) had just swum by, and the reflections were mindful of Matisse's work - would that I would be patient enough to find these nuances in paint. Patience - I seem to be short on that one this spring. And I know for sure one does not find patience without patience - is that a koan?
