A Year Through My Eyes

I woke to the sound of torrential rain.....that would appear to be the story of the week. Once it had eased, I made the bold decision to go for a run on the beach. Breaking my habit of not training by doing the hardest form of running (bare foot on sand) this was all good, and though my body had a shock it felt good.....until the purple cloud out to sea decided to dump it's load on me. Drenched!

So later I popped out and once again got caught by the rain.....was beginning to think it was just me! Eventually I went out out and popped to coogee to see livy on her break at work before heading into the city for dinner with sarah who I met a few weeks ago in sri lanka.

We started at a tacho place and then had planed to go to an argentinian bar but they were having some themed night of some description so we ended up going for lebanese, not the best meal ever, but not having had lebanese before I could be wrong.

Basically we were killing time before going to Venue 505 for the jazz session that was on. We saw two groups, the cooking club and I can't remember the name of the second one, but I think it's safe to say, as lovely an evening as out was, I'm not converted to being a jazz lover, far too random for my OCD. Lol.

Anyways thats about it, got back to the flat to be greeted by cup cakes, which is always nice :-)

This blip is of the cooking club
