Swan at sea!

Had a trip down to Ayr today, and walked along the promenade, then up the river to a wee tea shop we know, that does the most beautiful home baking. They have started a lunchtime menu, so the next time we go we will be sampling that!

The weather was windy but sunny, and in the sun not too cold, and we enjoyed our bracing walk. When we got to the place where the river comes out into the sea, there were lots of swans. They nest upriver, but come down to the sea to feed, and I took a lot of pictures of them. This one I liked best, as I caught it waving its wings about. I was quite some distance away, so was pleased that I had my Fuji camera with the big zoom.
