Old Man

Took Dad out for lunch today.

We went to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh where they are doing some building work at the West Gate. It looks like the roof is going to be quite interesting.

While Dad took his wheelchair for a walk I grabbed a few shots.

I liked the bblue berries but have no idea what they were ...... I didn't have time to look for labels as Dad was pushing his chair arround at one hell of a lick.

I managed to get two shots of a toadstool which appeared to have turned inside out.

Mums surgery turned into an exploritary operation and she is now having her major op. tomorrow.........which is when he goes into respite for a fortnight. We are going to have to take him out to visit her later in the week as he is very worried about her (when he remembers she is in hospital) and she is worried about him.

It is true what they say ........ when your parents get old they become your children.
