Avon Aqueduct

This is the view from the towpath of the Avon Aqueduct. According to its Wikipedia entry (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avon_Aqueduct" rel="nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avon_Aqueduct</a>), this is the longest aqueduct in Scotland, and the second-longest in the UK. It is 250m long and 26m high.

All of which is of interest to me now, but given that I was on around mile twenty of a twenty-two mile marathon training run, I was just glad of the excuse to stop for a moment to take the photograph!
