Forth Bridge

Another busy day with an unexpected Edinburgh trip.

My girlfriend finished an 11 hour nursing shift in Basingstoke at 8 in the morning, then fled to Gatwick to get the 2 oclock flight to Glasgow.

Then a Virgin plane has an emergency landing. It's now 2 in the morning and she's only back in Scotland now.

After her flight got cancelled she got put on the 6pm flight. Then that flight got delayed. Then delayed even more and again delayed. Finally landed in Edinburgh at half 12 so I took a trip through from Dundee and picked her up rather than he having to get a bus then train back to Glasgow.

I'm shattered. I can't begin to think about how bad she's feeling right now...

So sleep I think!
