Transportation

"What has this got to do with transportation? What IS this??" you might ask.

Well, in remote places here in Iceland it can be really important for transportation to have access to vehicles called snowcats or piste bashers.
While I was in Seyðisfjörður today I saw those two rolls of tracks behind a red snowcat. They made a nice pattern with swirls and spiky forms.

We had a great day visiting Seyðisfjörður and Fáskrúðsfjörður, where we met Jónína Óskarsdóttir, an excellent photographer. She even let us "play with her toys" - oh my, what magnificent lenses she's got!! ;o)

I came home around 21:00-ish, a bit tired but very, very happy!
