Grizzly Bears...

Teddy Bear's, according to Arlo, make EXACTLY the same noises as Dinosaurs do. It's just that nobody really knows that.

The pair of them stood in front of the mirror with their bear ears (made by our wonderful cousin Nic) doing dino roars and generally being mental. Although, of course this photo makes them look like quiet, cuddly delights. Maybe I hallucinate the crazy bits? Flashbacks from Nam or something?

I took Arlo and Ida up into town today (why do I never learn from these mistakes?) to get Ida fitted for some cruisin' shoes. We went to Clarks, which was against my better judgement, and as suspected, they didn't really have anything I wanted in Ida's size. We came away empty handed which was a bit disappointing considering I'd spent 25 minutes in the BAKING hot shop trying to catch Ida-the-race-baby from crawling up the stairs every 2 minutes and negotiating everything I could think of with Arlo to stop him doing Ben 10 style hiyaaa kicks into the big mirror.

Ooft. Seriously, kids shoe shops should offer wine on arrival.
