Pink Flamingo

When in this part of the world there is always one day when I give in and part with some of my hard earned cash to gain admission to one of Mr Disney's parks.

Last summer I read with interest the descriptions in Blip by acronymphomania of all the parks he visited, and in particular his recommendation for Animal Kingdom. I wasn't disappointed.

I'm not a big fan of zoos and in fact I'm uncomfortable with the whole idea of animals in captivity. However this place is about as good as it gets with its conservation work and the vast amount of space available to the animals. Having said that, there was still the odd thing that made me feel a bit uneasy.

I'm rushing out to dinner just now so I haven't had time to go through the pictures. I believe I have one of a Condor in flight ('Flight of the Condor') which would possibly have been a good Blip, but this is just the last one I took before leaving the park, so it was easy to get uploaded quickly.
