Spot the birthday boy

Somewhere in there my gorgeous little nephew is blowing out the candle on his first birthday cake. Lovely afternoon of combined birthday party for him and house-warming for them all made for a great welcome home for us with lots of good friends and family conveniently gathered.

Coupled with the joy of jet-lagged early morning waking, reacquainting ourselves with household stuff, shopping and yet more washing it was an early night for us.
