It's all just a bit much!

First day back at school after the holidays. Ben left just after 5am. I woke the children up just after 7.30. It all ran like clockwork!

I took Red I to town to do some jobs and ended up at the Maritime Museum. Red is still terrified of the helicopter and refuses to go into the "room" where it is. I hadn't realised that they do story time for preschoolers on a Monday morning. but as it turns out, Red is clearly the wrong sort of preschooler!

We then calked in on a friend for a coffee then finished off the jobs. I did think Red was especially quiet in the bank...

The big 2 were foul when they came out if school. So an easy tea and early beds all round has been the order if the day. We did have a brief moment of sadness when one of the school TAs came to collect Sylvie and Star, but otherwise all is now peaceful...
