Greater Stitchwort

Stellaria holostea

So many flowers blooming in the woods today; wood anemone, ramsons, bluebells, cowslip at the edge...
Eventually decided on this, a type of wild pink. Also known as "poor man's buttonhole" the ripe seedheads go off pop!

Edited to correct spelling of "ramsons". Damn! I was so proud that I'd managed to spell anemone correctly that I took my eye off the ball :/
