Weather Front
This afternoons expedition took us across to Pork Hill, above Tavistock where we knew that if you walked a little way from the car park you would be unlucky to see another soul. The lunch time weather predicted a cold front crossing the south west during the afternoon.
The clouds bore out this prediction with high ice particles scudding over at a fair rate of knots under a blue sky.
The large rock on the right is Vixen Tor which after being open to the public for years, is now closed.
The large Tor, behind on the left, is Kings Tor, around which the train from Plymouth to Princetown used to run, before Dr Beecham had his way.
