Long light evening....

...after a long hard day at work. Not only was it the first Monday after the holidays, which is always a bit of a shock to the system, I had to be in super early because I am an idiot and had to do a load of photocopying before my lesson, and then stayed late to run a revision session after college.

It was quite nice to see the students though, they do make me laugh. "I'm dying!" wailed one, head on the desk, after about 10 minutes of moderately hard thinking. Bless.

Amelia and Ben seemed pretty tired and a bit scratchy after their first day back too. A big day though, Amelia walked to school with her friend and no adults for the first time today. Brave girl.
