New growth

I went for a walk in Tudeley Woods today. It's an RSPB woodland site and the trees are being cut back. There are charcoal burners here during the summer according to the bumf. Heard plenty of birds although I didn't see any but it was wonderfully peaceful. I was lucky enough to see a jay as I drove there - a wonderful flash of beige and blue and white. It was also, however, rather cold. The car park was shut because they've had problems with folk bringing their pets - that's what "dogging" means isn't it?

I've uploaded a few photos from today to Flickr - take a look if you feel so inclined.

'The Third Man' on TV now; it's a wonder anyone goes to work when such riches are available. I hope your day is going as well as mine - have a good one hombres!
