Jack and the beanstalk

This beautiful old fashion rose is climbing high, reaching right up to the clouds.

The rose is stunning and vigorous. It was a cutting from a lovely little old lady I know. It has covered the front of my house and is growing so high I can't prune or dead head anymore.

If it didn't have thorns, maybe I could climb right up into the clouds and find me a golden goose.
