Caravan

I flew from Bristol to Newcastle this evening. Rendezvoused with Anne ad Orla at Newcastle airport after their drive down from Edinburgh. We're here for Helen and Brian's wedding and were really excited about the idea of staying in a caravan. Orla was too. However, even though we booked a deluxe caravan it really wasn't cost at all. The cold wet weather didn't help, but there was only harsh overhead lighting and the heating wasn't good enough to get the place warm for hours.

Then in the night it rained heavily, battering loudly on the roof for three hours of no sleep between 3 and 6am

It's safe to say we won't be going on any caravan holidays in the future.
